Ben Nadler, senior engineering and support specialist at El Paso Electric, has been invited to present at the annual Esri Electric and Gas GIS Conference in San Antonio this week.
Esri is an international supplier of Geographic Information Systems software, web GIS and geodatabase management applications.
Ben Nadler’s presentation, “Identifying Overloaded Transformers Using GIS and Meter Information,” will describe how El Paso Electric is using customer information system data and GIS technology to improve system reliability by identifying transformers that have the potential to overload and replacing them before customers lose power.
