National Electrical Grid of Kyrgyzstan upgrades their high-power transformers

National Electrical Grid of Kyrgyzstan OJSC is in the process of installing more high-power transformers in their substations much to their load relief, as stated by the company's press release.

National Electrical Grid of Kyrgyzstan NEGK is in the process of installing more high-power transformers in their substations much to their load relief, as stated by the company’s press release.

According to their statement, a start-up and commissioning works have been completed in 110/35/6kW Kyzyl-Asker substation and the second transformer with the capacity of 25MVA installed and put into operation. The transformer in Manas 110/35/10kW substation with the capacity of 10MVA was replaced by a more powerful one of 16MVA capacity from Novo-Yuzhnaya substation.

The replacement of transformers was financially covered within the project on electricity improvement for Bishkek and Osh consumers.
