Lenenergo completes modernisation of Koltushi substation

Koltushi substation was built in 1979 and its equipment was dated. This has been even greater problem since new houses were built in the area, reports Energy Land.
Lenenergo experts installed new power transformers, increasing from 80 to 126 MVA. Substation control building was also built, where switchgear of 6 and 10 kV was installed and relay protection and automation system. At the final stage of reconstruction, current and voltage transformers were installed.
