ZTR to supply power transformer for Pavlodarenergo

Ukraine, Zaporozhe: Zaporozhtransformator (ZTR) has signed a contract for the supply of 160 MVA , 110 kV power transformer to JSC Pavlodarenergo in Kazakhstan.
According to the contract, the transformer will be installed in Teploelektrotsentral-3, which is part of the Pavlodarenergo.
The tender for the manufacture and supply of the power transformer was announced in late 2013. Russian power transformer manufacturers also participated in the competition but eventually, ZTR won the order.
ZTR and Pavlodarenergo have many years of cooperation experience. Transformer park in the northern region of Kazakhstan, one of the largest facilities in the sphere of production, transmission and distribution of electric and thermal energy production is equipped with ZTR transformers.
The company also manufactured three power transformers for Pavlodarenergo in recent years – one 125 MVA transformer and two 40 MVA transformers. ZTR will receive an advance payment for the manufacturing of the transformer. The shipment is scheduled for the second quarter of 2014.
