FirstEnergy employees awarded Electric Industry Awards

USA, Ohio: Several FirstEnergy employees have recently been recognised with Leadership and Technology Transfer awards by The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), an independent, nonprofit organisation for energy and environmental research.

USA, Ohio: Several FirstEnergy employees have recently been recognised with Leadership and Technology Transfer awards by The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), an independent, nonprofit organisation for energy and environmental research.

Amongst the employees from different departments, EPRI recognised Alex Stefanovic, Operations Department at The Illuminating Company, and his team with a Leadership Award for their outstanding technical expertise on work on substation transformers, breakers and capacitor banks.

EPRI conducts research and development relating to the generation, delivery and use of electricity for the benefit of industry and the public.  EPRI brings together its scientists and engineers as well as experts from academia and industry to help address challenges in electricity, including reliability, efficiency, affordability, health, safety and the environment.
