Edenorte invests DOP 315 million ($ 7.3 million) in upgrade of electric networks

Dominican Republic, Puerto Plata: Edenorte is investing in the order worth DOP 315 million ($ 7.3 million) in the province and plans to undertake six projects which will enable the upgrade of the electrical network.

Dominican Republic, Puerto Plata: Edenorte is investing in the order worth DOP 315 million ($ 7.3 million) in the province and plans to undertake six projects which will enable the upgrade of the electrical network.

Edenorte intends to install 323 power transformers, 1,693 electric poles and 150 km of distribution networks through the projects, reports Entorno Inteligente. Out of the six projects being carried out in this province, three are nearly complete with the investment of DOP 173 million ($ 4 million). On completion of the work, more than 11 thousand Edenorte customers will benefit from better quality service.

Works that are nearing completion are in the municipalities of Imbert, Altamira and Guananico. Around DOP 173 million ($ 4 million) have been invested there.
