Switzerland, Zurich: ABB announced the start of two major renewable substation EPC projects in the USA involving wind and solar power.
For the wind project, ABB will engineer, procure and construct collector substation, with its 38kV MV GIS switchgear technology. It will also provide a generator step up transformer complete with high voltage breakers, switches, instrument transformers, capacitor banks and the switchgear featured in a Power Distribution Center (PDC).
