USA, New York: Siemens AG is open to offering additional assets to a bid for Alstom S.A.’s power business, Dow Jones Newswires reported Sunday.
As part of a potential $17 billion buyout offer for the French conglomerate’s power plant manufacturing unit, Siemens is willing to include its train-signaling division as part of the transportation assets it would exchange, reports Market Watch.
The offer from Siemens would compete with a takeover bid from General Electric Co. which started last month.
