TBEA to boost power generation in Nigeria

Nigeria: TBEA International Turnkey Project of China, is interested in supplying modern day power transformers to the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) and Kaduna Electricity Distribution company.

Nigeria: TBEA International Turnkey Project of China, is interested in supplying modern day power transformers to the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) and Kaduna Electricity Distribution company.

According to TBEA, it can help to ease electricity distribution in the country. The Vice General Manager of the company, Wang Xinbiao, said at the corporate headquarters of the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KEDC): “We are here today on a fact-finding mission, to see the area we can work together. We already have a production firm in India and we have been doing business with Sudan, Angola and Tanzania. We are familiar with African terrains, especially in power supply.”

The Managing Director of the KEDC, Alhaji Idris Mohammed, welcomed TBEA’s developments because it would boost the power sector in the country, reported Nigerian Tribune.
