ABB Canada CEO to promote energy efficiency standards at United Nations

USA, New York: Tomorrow Daniel Assandri, CEO of ABB in Canada, will participate as a speaker at Sustainable Energy for All Forum (SE4ALL) at United Nations, New York City.

ABB, as a partner in the UN Global Partnership Programme, is to promote international standards and accelerate the transition to energy efficient equipment such as distribution transformers.

Mr. Assandri will speak at a special press event during the SE4ALL Forum to promote a campaign for global access to electricity while promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy in the next 10 years, reports The Wall Street Journal.

This initiative will promote international efficiency standards during the three-day conference on global environmental health launching the United Nations’ new Sustainable Energy for All Decade.

ABB Canada CEO Daniel Assandri said: “I am pleased to represent ABB at this important gathering and have the opportunity to highlight ABB’s commitment to energy efficiency and how our technology can mitigate environmental impact.”
