23 power transformers provided through Sonelgaz emergency plan

Algeria, Tindouf: A total of 23 new power transformers have been provided in the Sonelgaz emergency plan in 2014 for the province.
Twenty-one of the transformers have been provided for Tindouf and the other two for d’Oum Laâssel, in addition to repairs of the existing facilities and network, reports Maghreb Emergent.
In terms of power generation, it is estimated that by 2015, a major transformation centre will be completed in Tindouf, strengthening the high voltage network by remote management equipment and the installation of new power transformers.
