USA, Connecticut: GE’s Digital Energy business has introduced Safe-NET Network Transformers with a patented tank design.
Safe-NET transformers have compact design intended for usage in small vault installations and have zinc epoxy primer and black epoxy top-coat paint.
In large metropolitan areas with densely populated cities, utilities provide power supply over secondary network distribution systems. These network systems are mostly underground, therefore the network transformers are part of the electrical infrastructure.
