Kubanenergo to increase reliability of power supply in Adygea’s capital

Russia, Adygea: As part of the network upgrade programme in 2014, experts of Kubanenergo started comprehensive repair of the 35 kV substation Promstochnaya in Maykop.
During the upgrade, two power transformers with capacity of 12.6 MVA have been replaced as well as voltage transformers and other power equipment.
The estimated cost of the substation repair will be about RUB 1 million ($ 30,000), reports Rus Cable.
There are plans to repair another high voltage substation called Ptitsesovkhoz. Implementation of the upgrade programme of Kubanenergo will ensure reliable operation of power supply during the winter period 2014/2015.
