Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen and Hitachi announce JV Reinhausen Solutions Co. in Japan
Germany, Regensburg: Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH (MR) announced the establishment of its service and maintenance company for MR and MR licensed On-Load Tap-Changers (OLTC) and Off-Circuit Tap-Changers (OCTC), as well as tap-changers manufactured by Trafo Union, and related products in Japan.

Germany, Regensburg: Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH (MR) announced the establishment of its service and maintenance company for MR and MR licensed On-Load Tap-Changers (OLTC) and Off-Circuit Tap-Changers (OCTC), as well as tap-changers manufactured by Trafo Union, and related products in Japan.
The new company will be called ‘Reinhausen Solutions Corporation’ and it will be a joint venture between MR (65%) and Hitachi, Ltd. (Hitachi) (35%), starting its operational business in autumn 2014.
The newly established company, Reinhausen Solutions Co., will have its head office based in Yokohama at the German Industry Park, where MR already runs its own office, MR Japan Corporation.
MR will now be able to offer the complete range of services by Reinhausen Solutions Co. for the benefit of OLTC and OCTC end-users and transformer manufacturers in Japan.
