USA, Massachusetts: Doble Engineering Company has opened its first Houston office and diagnostics laboratory.
The Houston facility is intended to provide access to Doble’s laboratory for the Gulf Coast, providing condition assessment and testing solutions for equipment such as power transformers and generators.
Paul Griffin, Doble vice president of testing and solutions, said: “Doble is like the doctor that looks at the diagnostics. But also the CDC that looks at the broader picture and the general population.”
He added that Doble’s new Houston facility is starting with a skeleton staff with plans of expansion as the business grows, reports Houston Business Journal. Griffin said that the growing Houston market has a huge demand for electricity.
