Kenya Power to upgrade distribution transformers in Kakamega County

Kenya, Nairobi: Kenya Power intends to improve power supply in Kakamega County with the investment of KES 96 million ($1.1 million).

 


Kenya, Nairobi: Kenya Power intends to improve power supply in Kakamega County with the investment of KES 96 million ($1.1 million).

The company will conduct a massive operation this weekend to rehabilitate power equipment and network serving the County. This will include distribution transformers, and according to Managing Director Ben Chumo, 20 of those will be replaced.

He said the exercise would ensure that the electricity network serving Kakamega County is robust and power supply consistent.
