India, Bareilly: Problems with power supply may soon end in Bareilly division as 13 substations with power transformers and other electrical equipment are installed today across the districts of Bareilly, Badaun, Pilibhit and Shahjahanpur.

The installation of 13 new substations will boost the power supply in Bareilly division with additional 100 MVA.

The installation of three new substations in Bareilly district alone will result in additional 25 MVA supply. The estimated cost of the three substations is around $2,1 million.

Under the Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Programme (APDRP) scheme, a total of 177 newly constructed substations are expected to be installed in various regions across the state.
