Russia, Sverdlovsk Region: Modern substation Titan started operating yesterday in Titanovaya dolina.

The new transformer station will be the key source of power supply for future industrial projects of the special economic zone.

The 110/10 kV Titan substation has been constructed as a result of a collaboration of the IDGC of Urals and SEZ Titanovaya dolina, reports Oblastnaya Gazeta.

The substation is equipped with two power transformers of 10 MVA capacity, 110 kV outdoor switchgear and 10 kV indoor switchgear. If necessary, capacity of the substation can be increased up to 4 times.

Costs of the project amounted up to approximately RUB 200 million ($3.7 million).
