USA, Pennsylvania: Lansdale electric infrastructure has been upgraded with a new transformer as part of an extensive local infrastructure upgrade project.

The new 27-ton transformer was installed replacing a transformer originally built and installed in the early 1970s, reports The Reporter Online.

The new transformer installed at a cost of around $500,000 will provide more capacity and require less maintenance, while the old one will be kept as a spare since it is still operational.
