New $10 million zone substation underway in Fiji

Fiji, Suva: Fiji Electricity Authority (FEA) has commenced works on the construction of a new 33kV/11kV tone substation intended to reinforce the electricity grid for the growing power demand in Suva City.

 


Fiji, Suva: Fiji Electricity Authority (FEA) has commenced works on the construction of a new 33kV/11kV zone substation intended to reinforce the electricity grid for the growing power demand in Suva City.

The substation will consist of a large control building and two large transformers of about 15 MVA, reports Fiji Sun Online.

This project forms part of the reconstruction of the 33-year-old 33kV ring circuit in Suva.
