Abengoa secures contract for $34M power project in Argentina

Spain, Seville: Abengoa has won a $34 million contract for development and supervision of a new electricity transmission project in central Argentina, in areas near Perez in Santa Fe province.

 


Spain, Seville: Abengoa has won a $34 million contract for development and supervision of a new electricity transmission project in central Argentina, in areas near Perez in Santa Fe province.

As part of the project, Abengoa will supervise the construction of six kilometres of 220 kV power lines, the expansion of the Rosario Oeste transformer station and the construction of a new 220 kV transformer station with power transformers and related electrical equipment, reports Latino Fox News.

The project designed to supply power to a new steel mill is expected to be completed in 12 months.
