Danes to embark on a $577M Kriegers hub project
Denmark, Fredericia: Energinet.dk has been granted permission for $577 million investment into a grid connection for the 600 MW Kriegers Flak wind farm in the Baltic Sea off Denmark.
Denmark, Baltic Sea: Energinet.dk has been granted permission for $577 million investment into a grid connection for the 600 MW Kriegers Flak wind farm in the Baltic Sea off Denmark.
The infrastructure will include 200 km of sea and land cables, two offshore substations with power transformers and associated electrical equipment and onshore grid upgrades.
The AC link is due to be installed in spring 2018 and achieve full operation in 2019. The Kriegers Flak wind farm is scheduled to go live by end-2021.
