USA, Colorado: A malfunctioned transformer caused a power outage at Cargill’s beef processing plant in Fort Morgan, Colorado yesterday morning.

The transformer malfunctioned due to condensation forming inside the casing from constant cooling and thawing, causing fuses to blow out, reports Fort Morgan Times.

The power outage affected the fabrication floor and the Cargill’s maintenance team was able to repair the transformer and have all power in the Fort Morgan plant online in the afternoon.
