T&R signs technology licence agreement with Fuji Electric
India, Gujarat: Transformers & Rectifiers India Ltd. (TRIL) has entered into a technology license agreement with Japan-based Fuji Electrical Co.
India, Gujarat: Transformers & Rectifiers India Ltd. has entered into a technology license agreement with Japan-based Fuji Electric Co.
As part of this agreement, T&R India has been granted the licence by Fuji to use its technology and the know-how to design, manufacture, assemble and inspect generator step-up transformers and shunt reactors, reports India Infoline.
The equipment covered by the licence agreement includes single-phase and three-phase generator step-up transformers of 420 kV and up to 1000 MVA bank capacity as well as single-phase shunt reactors of 765 kV and up to 133 MVAr capacity and three-phase shunt reactors of 420 kV and up to 125 MVAr capacity.
The technology license agreement is valid for a period of 10 years.
