As the Denton City Council approved the new site for the substation, Hickory Creek power transformer has been transported from the current site on a trailer with 20 axles, each having eight wheels, reports Dyersville Commercial.
As the rig and its convoy could not fit beneath overpasses on Highway 20, the trailer took back roads where “bridges” had to be built for the heavy loaded rig to pass.
