Transformer repair works commence at Toktogul

Kyrgyzstan, Jalal-Abad: Electrical Stations OJSC has began the active phase of the restoration of the T2 block transformer at the Toktogul Hydroelectric Station.

 


Kyrgyzstan, Jalal-Abad: Electrical Stations OJSC has began the active phase of the restoration of the T2 block transformer at the Toktogul Hydroelectric Station.

Following the delivery of the replacement transformer by Zaporozhye transformer factory (ZTR), the works are being performed together with ZTR engineers and according to the procedures agreed on with the manufacturer, reports Vecherniy Bishkek.

The equipment has a warranty for a period of five years and an operational lifetime of 20 years. Total repair costs together with delivery and installation amount to nearly $800,000.

The commissioning is scheduled for April-May this year.
