Revamped Makhachkala substation to receive new equipment
Russia, Dagestan: MES South has plans to perform a series of replacement works at the revamped 330 kV Makhachkala substation in 2015.
Russia, Dagestan: MES South has plans to perform a series of replacement works at the revamped 330 kV Makhachkala substation in 2015.
According to RIA Dagestan, the company will replace the second substation autotransformer and six current transformers 330 kV, as well as ten 330 kV disconnectors and six 330 kV circuit breakers.
The substation will also receive a new ice melting control system to help fight icing on three 330 kV transmission lines and increase the reliability of main feeders.
