Koncar produces first 85 MVA transformer for Lithuanian wind farm

Croatia, Zagreb: The Croatian power transformers manufacturer Koncar Distribution and Special Transformers (D&ST) has produced the first 85 MVA, 115 kV transformer for a Lithuanian wind farm.

 

Croatia, Zagreb: The Croatian power transformers manufacturer Koncar Distribution and Special Transformers (D&ST) has produced the first 85 MVA, 115 kV transformer for a Lithuanian wind farm.

The transformer is manufactured for the wind farm with a capacity of 81 MW, located in the coastal Klaipeda region, states Koncar in a press release.

D&ST has been exporting power transformers to Lithuanian clients for ten years. Only over the past three years it has delivered 20 transformers of the total capacity of 440 MVA to Lithuania.
