Over 2,000 new transformers and $224M for Shanxi power grid

China, Shanxi: The Shanxi province power company plans to invest over $224M into projects for the upgrade of the rural power grid in 2015.

 


China, Shanxi: The Shanxi province power company plans to invest over $224 million into projects for the upgrade of the rural power grid in 2015.

The projects include construction of 2,316 distribution transformer stations, as well as construction and renovation of 2,350 km 10 kV line and a 4,131 km low-voltage line with 543.37 MVA capacity, reports Getinews.

The focus of the upgrade programme will be on solving the distribution transformer and circuit equipment overload and increasing supply capacity.
