CG wins substation automation contract in Paraguay

India, Mumbai: Avantha Group Company Crompton Greaves (CG) has secured a contract from Administración Nacional de Energía (ANDE), the national electric utility of Paraguay, for the supply of 10 complete ZIV Substation Automation Systems.

 


India, Mumbai: Avantha Group Company Crompton Greaves (CG) has secured a contract from Administración Nacional de Energía (ANDE), the national electric utility of Paraguay, for the supply of 10 complete ZIV Substation Automation Systems.

The contract has been awarded as part of Paraguay’s 220 kV & 66 kV network expansion and modernisation project, under which last November CG signed a contract for the supply of eight single and three phase transformers totalling 420 MVA, reveals CG in the press release.

The project is financed by the World Bank and should be completed in six months.
