Unique MR on-load tap-changer test centre gets accredited

Germany, Regensburg: The Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen’s (MR) on-load tap-changer test centre in Regensburg has been certified by Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS) in accordance with the standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

 

Germany, Regensburg: The Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen’s (MR) on-load tap-changer test centre in Regensburg has been certified by Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS) in accordance with the standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

Accredited testing can now be carried out in accordance with IEC 60214-1.

Internationally, this is a unique test centre as nowhere else in the world can the entire spectrum of stresses to which on-load tap-changers are subjected during their service lives be simulated in a similarly comprehensive fashion, states the company in the press release.

The test centre offers fully automated test stations and parallel test processes which enable testing operation throughout the year, fulfilling the internationally valid and strictest global standards, such as IEC, IEEE and JEC for tap changers.
