Empresa expands regional transmission system in Magdalena

Colombia, Bogota: Empresa de Energia de Bogota (EEB) is connecting the town of Cienaga in Magdalena department to the 110 kV Rio Cordoba substation as part of the expansion of the regional transmission system.

 


Colombia, Bogota: Empresa de Energia de Bogota (EEB) is connecting the town of Cienaga in Magdalena department to the 110 kV Rio Cordoba substation as part of the expansion of the regional transmission system.

The project includes installation of two new 220/110 kV transformers of the capacity of 100 MVA in Cienaga, and two 110 kV bays, reports La Republica.

Bogota Power Company has been awarded the contract as the most successful bidder to supply transformers and equipment and perform the physical and electrical adjustments necessary for the expansion of the regional electricity transport system.
