Integrated PV box helps connect more than 300 MW to the UK grid
United Kingdom: Schneider Electric Solar Business connected more than 300 MW to the U.K. national grid in end of March, on top of the 200 MW already in operation.
United Kingdom: Schneider Electric Solar Business connected more than 300 MW to the U.K. national grid at the end of March, on top of the 200 MW already in operation.
The ability to achieve this high volume of project installations was in part due to the fully integrated PV Box solution which integrates a power transformer, inverters, switchgear, LV switchboard, DC box and monitoring cabinets, allowing for efficient on-site installation and commissioning, reports PV Magazine.
The projects were carried out by seven different engineering, procurement, and construction companies from four different countries, in more than 20 PV sites across the UK.
