Germany, Berlin: Röchling Engineering Plastics, a German manufacturer of transformer insulation and construction materials, will for the first time present platforms for oil-filled high-voltage transformers made of the insulation material Trafoboard HD-PH in new dimensions at the CWIEME 2015 exhibition that opens in Berlin tomorrow.

The new dimensions of the phenol-glued premium material are 3,150 x 3,150 mm and they permit the construction of even larger and thus higher-capacity transformers, states the company in the press release.

Trafoboard HD-PH consists of highly densified pressboard layers made of pure cellulose according to IEC 60641, which are bonded permanently with phenolic glue.

At the fair, the company will present its whole range of insulation and construction materials for oil-filled high-voltage transformers.
