Dominican Republic, La Vega: Edenorte, a Dominican government-owned power distribution company is installing a new power transformer at the Palmarito substation in the city of La Vega.
The investment of nearly $900,000 for the acquisition of the transformer will improve the quality of service in the city and increase the substation capacity from 28 MW to 37 MW of power, reports Entorno Inteligente.
The installation of the new transformer will lead to power disruptions in the area and should be completed by early next week when the transformer will be commissioned.
