USA, New Hampshire: Eversource Energy plans to bury overhead utility lines on Hanover and High streets in Portsmouth and replace a transformer that powers a large part of the downtown.

A key part of the project will be replacement of an existing power transformer located at 100 Market Street with two new transformers near the city’s High/Hanover parking garage, reports Seacoast Online.

Eversource will also move two transformers from inside the parking garage to outside of it.

Work is scheduled to begin in the autumn.
