ETD Transformatory tests transformers for project in Egypt
The Czech Republic, Pilsen: ETD Transformatory, a Czech Republic-based transformer manufacturer and a member of the International BEZ Group, has announced the completion and successful factory acceptance tests on transformers designed and manufactured for strategic projects in Egypt.

The contract concluded between ETD and PSP EL SEWEDY calls for the design, manufacturing and installation of two 185 MVA, 220/75 kV, as well as two 8,25 MVA, 15,75/6,6 kV transformers, the company states in the press release.
These transformers were designed, manufactured and tested in less than 4 months.
The Egyptian customer, PSP EL SEWEDY, is one of the leading EPC contractors in Egypt, and the transformers are designated for the Mahmudeia Project.
