Alstom to help develop electricity infrastructure in Saudi Arabia

France, Paris: Alstom Grid and National Grid SA of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) under which the two companies will cooperate in developing and advancing electricity infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a long-term basis.

 


France, Paris: Alstom Grid and National Grid SA of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) under which the two companies will cooperate in developing and advancing electricity infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a long-term basis.

This cooperation between Alstom and National Grid SA includes main equipment such as power transformers, HV switchgear, substation, automation solutions, smart grid and supergrid applications, network management and maintenance, and more, according to the company press release.

The two parties will cooperate in fields of standards and specifications, engineering and design, maintenance and operation, technical exchange forums and a range of training courses.
