CG wins substation orders in Venezuela and Philippines

India, Mumbai: Avantha Group Company CG has won an order for the supply of 30 MVA, 132 kV mobile substations for a Venezuelan enterprise Wellington Turbines, and another order for a supply of 8 bays of 138 kV, 60 Hz, AIS switchyard in the Philippines.

 


India, Mumbai: Avantha Group Company CG has won an order for the supply of 30 MVA, 132 kV mobile substations for a Venezuelan enterprise Wellington Turbines, and another order for a supply of 8 bays of 138 kV, 60 Hz, AIS switchyard in the Philippines.

Under the scope of both projects, the substations which include power transformers and other associated electrical equipment will be designed, manufactured, supplied, constructed, installed and commissioned by CG.

The mobile substations in Venezuela will facilitate electricity transmission for the floating type oil fired power plant being setup by Wellington Turbines, 100 kilometres from Caracas port.

The Philippines project will facilitate power transmission to the Philippines grid through 3 X 55MW coal fired thermal power projects, being installed by MINERGY Coal Corporation.
