Mitsubishi to provide transformer facilities for $950M Thai railway project

Thailand, Bangkok: Three Japanese companies have secured an order worth over $950 million to equip a railway linking Bangkok with nearby suburbs.

 


Thailand, Bangkok: Three Japanese companies have secured an order worth over $950 million to equip a railway linking Bangkok with nearby suburbs.

According to Nikkei Business daily, under the project Mitsubishi Heavy Industries will provide transformer facilities and signal systems, while trading house Sumitomo will oversee the project and Hitachi will supply 130 train cars, reports Bangkok Post.
