China starts investigation after electrical steel anti-dumping allegations

On Thursday the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) began examining dumping claims for grain-oriented flat-rolled electrical steel that is imported from Japan, the Republic of Korea and the European Union (EU).

 


On Thursday the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) began examining dumping claims for grain-oriented flat-rolled electrical steel that is imported from Japan, the Republic of Korea and the European Union (EU).

The investigation that was initiated on July 23 will help the MOC to establish whether those imports have harmed the interests of domestic produceers in any way, a ministry statement revealed.
