New power transformer factory to be set up in Cambodia

Cambodia, Phnom Penh: Pestech International Berhad, a Malaysian electric power technology company, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the State Grid Corporation of China to jointly launch a power transformer factory in Cambodia and develop infrastructure projects throughout the country.

 


Cambodia, Phnom Penh: Pestech International Berhad, a Malaysian electric power technology company, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the State Grid Corporation of China to jointly launch a power transformer factory in Cambodia and develop infrastructure projects throughout the country.

The location of the factory and the details of the deal are yet to be negotiated, reports Khmer Times.

The two companies also plan to create a special purpose venture to procure energy infrastructure projects. SGCC will fund the projects and provide equipment, while Pestech will handle construction and project management.
