Eaton to provide transformers for five Colorado solar projects

USA, Pennsylvania: Power management company Eaton has announced a contract to provide electrical distribution equipment and engineering services for an 8.2 MW community solar installation in Colorado at five sites, including Denver and Colorado Springs.

 


USA, Pennsylvania: Power management company Eaton has announced a contract to provide electrical distribution equipment and engineering services for an 8.2 MW community solar installation in Colorado at five sites, including Denver and Colorado Springs.

Under the contract, Eaton will supply a range of electrical power management products, including load centres with dry-type power transformers, switchboards, panel boards, combiner boxes, and circuit protection solutions.

Upon completion, the five community solar installations are predicted to generate enough to power more than 1,600 homes for 20 years.
