Germany, Oberursel: MESSKO INSTRUMENTS, Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen’s subsidiary, has launched a new digital temperature management system MTeC EPT303, which controls the cooling systems of power transformers by measuring the top oil temperature and determining the winding temperature.

The new device supports a wide range of sensors and actuators, and integrates all common communications standards.

The equipment can calculate the estimated remaining service life of the transformer and show how much the transformer – and in particular the insulation system of the windings – has aged as a result of operation.

The temperature management feature can control the fans and prevent excess temperatures from occurring in the windings.
