Mitsubishi Electric Asia begins sales in Thailand
Japan, Tokyo: Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Japanese-based manufacturer of electrical equipment, including power transformers, has announced that Mitsubishi Electric Asia (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has begun conducting domestic sales.
Japan, Tokyo: Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Japanese-based manufacturer of electrical equipment, including power transformers, has announced that Mitsubishi Electric Asia (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has begun conducting domestic sales.
Mitsubishi Electric Asia (Thailand), a Thai subsidiary operating as a regional corporate office since 2013, will expand Mitsubishi Electric’s power systems business and develop opportunities in other fields of the country for Mitsubishi Electric in Thailand, according to the company the press release.
The headquarters of Mitsubishi Electric in Japan previously managed power systems sales in Thailand, and has to date received multiple orders for power stations. The power systems business will now be managed directly in the local market.
Sales in Thailand account for about 30 percent of Mitsubishi Electric Group sales in Asia excluding Japan.
