CG to supply transformers to Korea’s electric utility

India, Mumbai: Avantha Group Company CG has secured an order for 365 kV and 154 kV capacitive voltage transformers from Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), the largest electric utility of South Korea responsible for 93% of Korea`s electricity generation.

 


India, Mumbai: Avantha Group Company CG has secured an order for 365 kV and 154 kV capacitive voltage transformers from Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), the largest electric utility of South Korea responsible for 93% of Korea`s electricity generation.

The transformers which are scheduled to be delivered by the end of this year use polymeric insulated products, whose qualities include flame resistance, light weight, easy handling, and ageing resistance, according to the manufacturer.
 
The equipment will be manufactured in CG’s Nashik facility in India.
