NGCP substation and transformer projects in Pangasinan underway

The Philippines, Pangasinan: The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) targets to finish the construction of its new substation in Barangay Balingueo in Sta. Barbara town by March 2016 to keep up with the growing demand for power in the province.

 


The Philippines, Pangasinan: The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) targets to finish the construction of its new substation in Barangay Balingueo in Sta. Barbara town by March 2016 to keep up with the growing demand for power in the province.

The 100 MVA substation with power transformers and associated electrical equipment will provide an alternative source of power to the existing NGCP substations in Pangasinan located in Labrador and San Manuel.

Beside the Balingueo substation project, NGCP is currently setting up an additional power transformer in San Manuel, which is expected to be commissioned by the end of this year.
