Germany, Winterbach: Pfisterer, a German company, has launched a new mobile energy system which allows robust and scalable power grids to be created from renewable sources of energy.

The new CrossPower mobile energy system allows any conventional or renewable energy sources to be mixed in isolated energy networks known as microgrids, balancing energy generation and consumption.

According to the manufacturer, mobile and stable microgrids can now be quickly established in less accessible areas using smart energy management, with the output scalable between 25 kW and 1,000 kW.

The system comprises a central control unit and storage batteries to which any generator can be connected.
