The United States commonwealth in the western Pacific Ocean was hit by Typhoon Soudelor on 3 and 4 August 2015 which left residents in the largest of the Northern Mariana Islands without power for more than two months, reports Salina Journal.

After the first 180 rebuilt transformers are delivered this week, Solomon Corporation will complete about 100 units a week until the order is filled.

This is the company’s largest pole-mounted order in its 44-year history.
