Isolux Corsan energises one GIS and five AIS substations in India

Spain, Madrid: Isolux Corsan, through its subsidiary Isolux Infrastructure, has energised Rewa Road 400 kV GIS substation in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India as part of the construction project of 1,530 kilometres of EHV transmission lines with voltages of 765 kV and 400 kV.

 


Spain, Madrid: Isolux Corsan, through its subsidiary Isolux Infrastructure, has energised Rewa Road 400 kV GIS substation in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India as part of the construction project of 1,530 kilometres of EHV transmission lines with voltages of 765 kV and 400 kV.

The company has also commissioned three AIS transformer substations 765/400/220/132 kV and two AIS transformer substations 400/220 kV, reports PR Newswire.

Rewa Road Substation is the first 400 kV GIS substation in the state, which will allow energy transmission between voltages of 400 kV and 220 kV, interconnecting 10 EHV transmission lines of 400 kV and four transmission lines of 220 kV.

The project was awarded by the public entity U.P. Power Transmission Company Limited (UPPTCL) to create network that will enable evacuating the energy from new power plants and transporting it through the state.
